Fabian Burri has a long history with cycling but has only recently started bikepacking and racing Ultra races. Fabian has travelled all over the world racing throughout 2019 and as the most recent addition to the Hunt team we thought it was about time we found out more about the man.

So without further ado lets meet Fabian!

Fabian recently raced this cool Cannondale Topstone in the Across Andes Bikepacking race in Chille, South America. The route crossed high altitude mountain passes on both tarmac and dirt roads, so the Topstone proved to be an excellent choice.

The Topstone uses Cannondale's revolutionary kingpin suspension system based around a series of clever pivots and strategically laid carbon fiber. The end result is a suspension system that will take the edge of the dirt road yet still pedal efficiently on the road sections and long climbs.

This paper introduces the 52, 62 and 82 Carbon Aerodynamicist deep section wheels. The engineering development is discussed, from aerodynamically focussed design to wind tunnel testing against a range of the best deep section competitor wheelsets. The results reveal that the HUNT 52 and 62 challenge the industry’s best wheelsets with the HUNT 82 out-performing all tested competitors.

Well, 18 months really, but that doesn’t have the same ring to it does it. In my last thrilling tale I had slowly worked my way up to being a master of Zwift, and contracted a rather worrying addiction to online racing. All this despite the continual hindrance of a nagging cardiac problem that means my heart rate is incredibly slow to rise when exercising and max’s out at just above 100. I left you all with the cliffhanger of whether I was a “Virtual Contender” who had discovered the secret to immense online power, or merely an “Actual Idiot” living the lie of estimated power and secretly despised by all the real virtual athletes around me…. This weekend, we were back in the action with Gosse for the fourth round of this year's National Trophy season, just half an hour drive away at our 'local' race at the South of England showground in Ardingly. With Ian Field just 16 points ahead of Gosse in the overall standings, it was to be a pivotal race in the chase for the series....
