Rims
Unidirectional carbon fibre rim construction, with 3k reinforcement at spoke holes for greater durability. The layup is comprised primarily of Toray T700 fibres which offer high impact resistance and flexibility. V:Absorb resin is blended in the carbon layering process, which cures at a lower temperature. Lower temperature resin reduces brittleness, resulting in greater impact resistance and more effective vibration dampening.

H_Ratchet SGL Hub
The new HUNT H_Ratchet 36T SGL hubset provides a 10-degree engagement angle with improved durability, offering increased engagement surface area while using less shell materials relative to our race-proven pawl-based systems. Ships with Dumonde Tech Pro X freehub grease applied for long service life and contamination resistance. Compatible with 15mm thru-axles for adaptability for all modern road and gravel bikes.

Spokes
Our team has further tuned the ride quality of the 30 Carbon Disc by selecting narrower gauge (TB2015) spokes for the front wheel to provide compliance, with slightly thicker gauge spokes (TB2016) in the rear for increased power transfer.

Tyres
At HUNT we enjoy the puncture resistance and grip benefits of tubeless on our every-day rides, so we wanted to allow you the same option, but of course these tubeless-ready wheels are also designed to work perfectly with inner tubes.

Bearings
The heart of any wheel. Investing in them makes huge sense. We use high-grade double sealed smooth-rolling sealed cartridge bearings.

Nipples
The conical shape of the double square nipple allows for increased accuracy in wheel building when combined with a nipple washer, allowing us to create evenly tensioned wheels with reduced stress points at the spoke hole.

In the box

Hunt Black Shield tubeless tape fitted to wheels.

The axle adapters needed for your bike, just fill in the simple form shown after order completion, the form is also included in your order confirmation page.

Cassette spacer for 8/9/10 speed

Tubeless Valves

Spare of each spoke plus nipples

Rotor lock rings

Quality control card signed by your wheel builder

Das Ziel.

Das Ziel.

The 30 Carbon Disc is a do-it-all carbon disc-brake wheelset. The 30mm wide and 30mm deep U-profile serves up great handling and reduces aerodynamic drag across multiple wind yaw-angles, while keeping the rotating weight down for quick response when you put down the power. The extra-wide 22mm internal rim bed opens out your tyre profile to provide exceptional vibration reduction, cornering traction and low rolling-resistance.

The 30 Carbon Disc wheelset is built to transform your road, CX, or gravel rides.

Note

Please note these are refurbished wheels and some specifications may vary. These wheels have been inspected by our expert wheel builders and they come with our 3 year warranty as found on our new wheel products.

KEY FEATURES _

Felgen

Unidirektionale Carbonfasern, mit 3K-Gewebe verstärkte Speichenlöcher für maximale Stabilität.

Speichen

H_Ratchet 36T SL

HUNT H_Ratchet 36T SGL Nabensystem für J-bend Speichen mit zusätzlichem Lagerschutz. 10 Grad Eingriffswinkel durch ein Zahnscheiben-System mit 36 Zähnen.

Technologie.

The HUNT team have paired the light and wide hooked rim with new H_Ratchet 36T SGL hubs, offering a rapid 10-degree engagement angle, in a reliable, easy-to-service and long-lasting ratchet drive system. Increased engagement surface area improves power transfer and longevity of the hubs, while using less material compared to a spring-and-pawl system, resulting in a light but robust hub system designed and tested to cope with the increased torque of 1x drivetrains.

Hand-built with top-of-the-range Pillar PSR triple butted J-bend spokes and precision sealed cartridge bearings.

Felgen

Tyres
At HUNT we enjoy the puncture resistance and grip benefits of tubeless on our every-day rides, so we wanted to allow you the same option, but of course these tubeless-ready wheels are also designed to work perfectly with inner tubes.
Felgenbett

Spokes
Our team has further tuned the ride quality of the 30 Carbon Disc by selecting narrower gauge (TB2015) spokes for the front wheel to provide compliance, with slightly thicker gauge spokes (TB2016) in the rear for increased power transfer.
