The Purpose _

Designed for riders chasing every watt, the CFD-developed, wider front and deeper rear rim designs are engineered and wind tunnel-proven to improve aerodynamics and stability in actual racing conditions, while minimising system weight.

Aero wing spokes slice through the wind yet remain tough and simple to service. The precision-engineered H_Ratchet 40T DBL hub delivers crisp 9° engagement with less material weight. Enduro™ Bearings ABEC 5 chromium steel bearings keep you rolling faster for longer.

No Compromise Rim Profiles

Wind tunnel tests prove these are the fastest wheels in the 50-59mm category. The 54.5mm front and 58mm rear depths, shaped through CFD analysis, cut through air while maintaining control. Wide external dimensions (31.7mm front, 30mm rear) improve aerodynamics without adding weight. The 22mm internal hooked rim works with all tubeless and clincher tyres from 25-50mm.

Reliable, Rapid H_Ratchet Hub System

H_Ratchet 40T DBL, is a dual-sided ratchet system with 40-tooth drive rings offers rapid and reliable 9˚ engagement for quick response to pedal inputs. 6066 aluminium alloy hub shell with extra strong 7075-T6 alloy axle and freehub body for durability. H_Ceramik reinforced coating to protect against gouging.

Recyclable H_Cyclo Technology

Fully recyclable thermoset epoxy resin technology allows for the separation and re-use of both the carbon fibre material and resin components at end-of-life without creating waste solvents or pollutants. Aerodynamic Wing Spokes

Built for strength and aero efficiency, the Pillar Wing spokes feature an aerofoil profile to reduce drag, with reinforced butting near the spoke head for added durability in high-stress areas. Cold-drawn from premium stainless steel, these spokes offer excellent strength and direct power transfer, while the sleek black stainless finish adds a durable touch.

The HUNT 54_58 Aerodynamicist Carbon Disc wheels beat the competition in wind tunnel tests, cutting air resistance by 0.94 watts compared to the Zipp 404 Firecrest (2mm deeper front wheel) while weighing 91 grams less. Click here to view engineering methodology and aerodynamic data in full.

Against the Zipp 404 Firecrest (2mm deeper front wheel), our wheels cut air drag by 0.94 watts while weighing 168g less – nearly 11% lighter. The redesigned front profile manages airflow better across all angles, with particularly strong performance at high yaw, where it creates sailing effects and prevents turbulence.

These wheels don't just cut through air – they handle precisely. Steering moment tests show consistent, linear response at all yaw angles, giving riders predictable control and confidence.

The 22mm internal width perfectly shapes 28-30mm tyres for better aerodynamics, comfort and cornering. Despite their depth, the complete wheelset weighs just 1468g, thanks to advanced carbon construction.

Taking the learnings from our Limitless Speed Project but utilising traditional manufacturing methods, the Aerodynamicist rim profiles deliver optimum aerodynamic benefit from wide rim profiles. The wide and far more 'blunted' spoke bed area, allows wind to flow in a more predictable pattern once separating from the rim providing a smooth and aerodynamically efficient package.

The H_Ratchet freehub system offers smooth, quick, reliable 9˚ engagement with dual-sided ratchet rings for easy servicing. Designed for durability, the reinforced H_Ceramik coating protects against cassette damage, while the forged and CNC’d alloy body and 7075-T6 aluminium axle provide increased stiffness and strength.

Aerodynamic Wing Spokes

Pillar Wing 20 Elliptical Aero stainless steel spokes offer excellent performance-to-weight and significant aero gains over round spokes. The patented design resists twisting under tension. Black anodised finish.

Super smooth precision Enduro™ ABEC 5 stainless steel cartridge bearings. Enduro™ ABEC 5 bearings are designed specifically for bicycle applications as they offer the deepest grooves and largest balls possible in every size to increase bearing strength and durability.

All-Road Ready Resistance

Hunt road wheels all pass UCI impact testing standards. HUNT Wheels' road wheels must also undergo significantly elevated impact testing using a sharpened anvil and higher impact energies to better replicate pothole strikes compared to the flat UCI impact test pad.
