Bass, Dust, and Carbon: The Hearthouse Racing Mid-Season Update.

Remember that crackle in the air at the start of the season? That raw, unfiltered frequency, floating somewhere between a smoke-filled warehouse party in the early nineties and the laser-focused silence five seconds before the starting gun goes off? Hearthouse Racing set out this spring not just to mix up the German cycling scene, but to inject it with a completely new, electric rhythm. Now, in the heat of the summer, one thing is certain: the Düsseldorf-based crew didn't just promise, they delivered. With burning legs, dust-covered faces, and a beat that dictates the pace of the peloton, they have proven that races truly are their party – and the bass is currently pumping incredibly loud.

On the road, the season so far has been a relentless loop of adrenaline and pure speed. The riders already have an incredible 42 national race starts in their legs. On the historic, high-speed criterium circuits of North Rhine-Westphalia, they have long become a permanent fixture and an unmistakably stylish splash of color in the racing field. When the corners tighten and the pace breaks the 50 km/h mark, the guys rely on their sharpest weapons against aerodynamic drag: the HUNT SUB50 in the current 2025 modification and the uncompromising HUNT Aerodynamicist 54/58 wheelsets. These masterpieces slice through the wind like a razor-sharp synthesizer track through a heavy bassline, holding the line exactly when true trust in the equipment decides between a podium and a crash. Robin Sengstock proved that this trust is absolutely justified at the legendary Cologne Classics. Sprinting against world-class talent in a heavily contested and blisteringly fast elite international field, he stormed onto the podium to secure third place. It was the perfect proof of the Hearthouse philosophy: aesthetics meeting raw wattage.

And the hunger for success in a skinsuit is far from satisfied. The team has already celebrated two State Championship titles this season – two golden moments that show how deep friendship and structured, hard work form the ultimate foundation. Even in the ultimate race against the clock, the needle swung deep into the red. At the NRW State Time Trial Championship, the squad pushed their watts to the limit and rewarded themselves with an outstanding fifth place. This featured a flying, science-fiction-like combination where the HUNT TT DISC rear wheel merged with the Aerodynamicist 54 front wheel, making the wind completely irrelevant. A total of three podium finishes in the elite road category underscore how masterfully Hearthouse Racing has made the transition from a cool underground crew to a true athletic powerhouse.

But who says a good party only happens on the finest tarmac? When the asphalt ends and dust clouds the vision, the team switches straight into tunnel vision. The riders have already lined up ten times at prestigious national and international gravel races. Their journey took them from the sun-drenched, rugged tracks of Santa Vall in Girona to the treacherous terrain of Turnhout and Houffalize in Belgium, all the way to the fast sectors of Marly Gravel in the Netherlands and the picturesque yet merciless Wörthersee in Austria. On this unpredictable terrain, the HUNT 40 Limitless Gravel and HUNT 40 Gravel Race wheels literally absorb the vibrations, offering that crucial millisecond of precision and grip when the ground crumbles beneath them. Hearthouse has built a massive presence in the national gravel scene, with Felix Dierking currently in absolute top form. He leaves no doubt that he will defend his overall victory in the German Gravel League, backed up by two magnificent second-place finishes in the rounds so far. This dominance is flanked by Noah Balgenorth, who set another huge exclamation mark with a furious second place at the traditional GravelKap in Zwenkau.

Max Oertzen proved on the international stage that this very special Hearthouse rhythm works worldwide. Competing in the highly competitive pro category at the UCI Gravel race in Turnhout, surrounded by seasoned professional cyclists, Max kept a completely cool head. Carried by the absolute reliability of his HUNT 40 Gravel Race wheels, he pulverized the competition one by one and rode to a sensational 22nd place, leaving numerous full-time pros looking pale in his wake. Hearthouse Racing hides from no one. They didn't come to stand on the sidelines and watch. They are here to set the tone, electrify the start lists, and push boundaries, whether on tarmac or deep gravel. The season is still long, the batteries are fully charged, and the next drop is just around the corner.
