Carbon Emissions reduction plan approved by Science Based Targets initiative.

The Rider Firm has set the following targets:

To Reduce Scope 1 & 2 emissions by 42% between 2023 and 2030
To measure and reduce Scope 3 emissions
To annually publish progress towards the targets set

The measurement of The Rider Firm’s Scope 1 & 2 emissions, and the setting of targets was independently verified by the SBTi in September 2023, and you can find our commitment published both with the SBTi (https://sciencebasedtargets.org/) and with the We Mean Business Coalition (https://www.wemeanbusinesscoalition.org/).

The Rider Firm is proud to support an athlete roster that comprised of 63% women athletes and 13% athletes from diverse background.
Goal agreed to increase the percentage of BIPOC athletes to 20% by 2027.
Long term partnership with Ride for Racial Justice since 2022.
HUNT entered the highest level of road sponsorship with WorldTour Team Qhubeka-ASSOS, which was not only committed to racing performance, but also promoting cycling on the African continent, and was the first African team to participate in the Tour de France.

H_CYCLO is a new technology that allows for the full recycling of thermoset carbon fibre materials used in high-performance bicycle wheels.

It maintains the strength and performance of traditional carbon fibre while enabling the separation and reuse of both carbon fibres and epoxy resin.  This is vital part of HUNT's broader sustainability efforts in the cycling industry.

Our H_Cyclo technology delivers full-strength carbon fibre with one crucial difference: complete recyclability. The innovative resin can be separated from carbon fibres using the CleaVER solution, allowing both materials to be reused. HUNT take full responsibility for recycling, taking back wheels when they reach end-of-life or after damage, at no cost to the customer. A practical solution to carbon waste in cycling.

By 2029, our revolutionary H_Cyclo recyclable carbon technology will grow from its initial wheel model to comprise 54% of our carbon rim range.
