HUNT 5AM Limitless Fastest in Cyclingnews Wind Tunnel Test.

Cyclingnews are known for their independent aero test and we're proud to announce that the HUNT 5AM Limitless Ti_UD Carbon Spoke recorded the lowest drag. We put every product through thorough testing, but having the results confirmed by such an iconic publication is incredibly rewarding.

Cyclingnews tested 16 high performance wheelsets at the Silverstone Sports Engineering Hub, using the same bike, tyres, cassette and brake rotors.

With a 28mm tyre, the 5AM recorded the lowest weighted CdA of the test at 0.0778, saving 6.61 watts at 40km/h compared with the shallow reference wheelset and it also recorded the lowest drag with a 30mm tyre, saving 6.04 watts.

The 5AM also stood out for its weight, with the tested wheelset measuring just 1,229g.

The 5AM combines a 58mm front rim, 55mm rear rim, VONOA Ti_UD carbon spokes and hidden nipples to balance aerodynamic performance with low weight.

The result provides further independent validation of HUNT’s 5 Stage Aero Development process and is a huge reward for our R&D team and all of us at HUNT.
