Bristol is the host of the 2016 Bespoked Hand built bicycle show and we are privileged to supply Hunt wheel sets to a number of handmade bikes on display the the show. One build on display is courtesy of James Hoppe from Fabric.cc. James has created an incredible disk brake road bike featuring out Hunt 38 Carbon Wide Disc wheel set. James bike will be on display at the Bespoked Hand built bike show this weekend but in the mean time we are pleased to be able to bring you some exclusive preview photos.
Where does my road to Roubaix start? You could say it was when the surgeon was very clear on what I should or shouldn’t do following my final knee operation, but I think that would be too arty. No story about Roubaix should be allowed to be too arty, the Cycling Gods would not be pleased. So my road to Roubaix starts with a phone call from my brother, he said we should give it a go while we could still “do it properly”, I said “go on then”.

I’m told the winter of 2015-16 has been the wettest since records began. Certainly on my home turf it feels like we’ve done nothing but toil in brutal wind and rain since the last days of autumn. So if pushed for a reason for choosing the furthest reaches of North West Scotland, in March, for a lightweight tour….it might take some explaining.
