Brass is strong and corrosion resistant plus it has self-lubricating properties to prevent issues that can arise from grit and salt on the winter roads corroding the threads in alloy nipples. As well as the standard square body we chose nipples with a double square head so you can achieve precise tensioning with better tool fitment. </i>

The new HUNT H_Ratchet 36T SGL hub system was designed specifically for durability and high torque loads, with increased engagement contact area. Brass nipples and Pillar triple butted spokes round out the handbuilt package. Whether it's a rocky and rooty singletrack loop, a party-pace mixed-surface adventure, or your next 100-mile gravel race, this is our do-it-all gravel upgrade wheelset.

Stated wheel weights: Our stated wheel weights reflect the wheelset only; without rim tape, tubeless valves or disc brake lock rings, as is industry standard. A 3% variance (lower or higher) in total system weight is normal for wheelset manufacturing.

All HUNT wheels models have to pass our harsh cobbled-rolling-road tests for rider weight limits, please see here for more details. Max system weight 145 kg (system weight – total weight of fully kitted up rider, bike and luggage). If the system is over 120 kg then an experienced bike mechanic should check the wheel regularly.
