The Purpose
The year-round wheelset for riders up to 130kg. Higher 32-spoke count increases responsiveness and durability. When paired with our 4 Season hubs, this makes for a wheelset ready to be ridden as hard and as often as you want.
The 700c wheels feature the same 20mm (internal) rim profile as our 4 Season All-Road Disc. All of the specs aim to increase the durability of this wheelset so we chose to use brass nipples for anti-corrosion resistance and J-bend triple butted spokes. These wheels are really ready for anything you throw at them.

- Rims | 700c Extra strong 6069-T6 (+69% tensile strength vs 6061-T6) heat-treated alloy. Tubeless-ready. Disc specific. Asymmetric for balanced spoke tensions and a highly-durable wheel build. ETRTO 622x20. H-lock bead-seat for easy and secure tubeless installation.
- Tyres | Extra-wide 20mm rim bed optimised for 25mm & 28mm tyres but great with gravel and CX cyclo-cross tyres up to 47mm.
- Hubs | HUNT 4 Season Disc J-bend spoke hubs with extra bearing shielding. 10° RapidEngage 6-pawl freehub, with H_CERAMIK coating for enhanced durability. Centre-lock disc mount. Please note: If you require a 6-bolt adapter you can purchase separately here.

Rims
- Tubeless-ready – designed to work excellently with normal clincher tyres and tubes or tubeless tyres. Hunt Black Shield tubeless tape fitted. Hunt Wedgr black tubeless valves included.

- H-lock bead-seat up-kicks for easy and secure tubeless installation.

Tyres Info
- For the 4 Season Superdura Disc HUNT recommend a 28mm tyre for best performance, tyre widths between 22mm and 47mm are also safe to use. You must not exceed the maximum tyre pressure limits set out in the table below or the maximum limit set by your tyre manufacturer if this is lower. Note: best performance is usually gained by using tyre pressures lower than the maximum, you can see our blog post here about this.
- You must not exceed the maximum pressure stated on your tyre.
- Suitable tubeless road, gravel and CX tyres are available from a huge range of companies.
Axle Sizes
These wheels are available with all existing disc brake road bike axle adapter sizes. We fit the axles you need, just complete the simple form shown after checkout:
- Front: 12x100mm Thru-Axle, 15x100mm Thru-Axle, 9x100mm Thru-Axle, Quick Release 9x100mm
- Rear: 12x142mm Thru-Axle, 12x135mm Thru-Axle, 10x135mm Thru-Axle, Quick Release 9x135mm
If you are unsure what size your axles are don't worry it also includes the option to tell us your bike model and we will find out and then fit the correct axles, plus we're happy to change them later at our cost if you don't quite get it right. Front Hub
- Forged and CNC’d 6061-T6 heat-treated aluminium alloy body.
- 7075-T6 aluminium alloy axles.

Rear Hub
- 7075-T6 heat-treated aluminium alloy freehub body.
- H_CERAMIK freehub body reinforcement coating provides excellent durability and protects against cassette sprocket damage to the freehub often seen on standard alloy freehub bodies.
- 6 pawl, 10° engagement.
- All freehub standards accounted for.
- Forged and CNC’d 6061-T6 heat treated aluminium alloy body.

All HUNT wheels models have to pass our harsh cobbled-rolling-road tests for rider weight limits, please see here for more details. Max system weight 145kg (system weight – total weight of fully kitted up rider, bike and luggage). If a rider is over 120Kgs then an experienced bike mechanic should check the wheel regularly and it is advisable to use minimum 28c tyres at max 100psi as this will reduce the fatigue on the wheelset. We are cyclists ourselves and do of course go above and beyond to offer excellent service if you ever do experience any issues. We carry full spares at very reasonable prices and offer complete support.

We are cyclists and as such strive to offer class leading service and support.
