We have made the most of this and used our new V:Absorbe resin blends in the carbon layering which cures at a lower temperature. <h1>Rims</h1><i>A strong and lightweight hookless rim featuring unidirectional T24/30 carbon fibre with 3K weave re-enforced spoke holes. An asymmetric shape which is inverted from front to rear to provide balanced higher spoke tensions meaning tighter spokes for longer. Disc specific rims allow higher strength to weight as no reinforcement is required for a braking surface. The extra wide rim at 33mm (26mm internal) creates a great profile for wider tyres, giving more grip and lower rolling resistance.</i>

As a result, we've developed the <em>H_CERAMIK</em> coating to provide excellent durability and protect against cassette sprocket damage often seen on standard alloy freehub bodies.</i>
<h1>Nipples</h1><i>To accompany these high-end spokes we selected brass nipples for our Hunt 4Season wheels. Brass is strong and corrosion resistant plus it has self-lubricating properties to prevent issues that can arise from grit salt on the winter roads corroding the fine threads in alloy nipples. As well as the standard square body we chose nipples with a hex head so you can achieve precise tensioning.</i>

Built off the same platform as our rugged 25 Carbon Gravel X-Wide, this wheelset turns any gravel bike into a versatile 'go anywhere' attitude. Technology.

H_Core reinforcement technology increases impact resistance significantly over the previous iteration of rim design. Pultruded carbon fibre hoops are moulded into the critical joint between the sidewall and rim bed on both sides of the rim, creating a skeleton-like structure to build the rim around. This technology improves compaction at the joint, eliminating porosity and creating a stronger, more consistent final carbon fibre layup construction.

The 27mm-wide internal profile enhances strength and durability, with a reinforced layup and oversized sidewall dimensions to reduce the risk of pinch flats. The 650B rims feature an asymmetric profile developed for compliance and impact resistance, ready for your rowdiest gravel rides.

Hubs

The HUNT H_Ratchet 36T SGL hubset offers a 10° engagement angle with improved durability, achieved with increased engagement surface area while using less shell materials relative to pawl-based systems. The ratchet rings are finished with a process called Electroless Nickel Plating which gives us a 25μm-thick coating over the surface of the ratchet, allowing for more even power distribution over the ratchet surface for longer service life.

Hand built with brass spoke nipples, selected for their corrosion resistance, proven durability, especially in adverse conditions. Every detail is designed with your riding in mind.

Stated wheel weights: Our stated wheel weights reflect the wheelset only; without rim tape, tubeless valves or disc brake lock rings, as is industry standard. A 3% variance (lower or higher) in total system weight is normal for wheelset manufacturing.

All HUNT wheels models have to pass our harsh cobbled-rolling-road tests for rider weight limits, please see here for more details. Max system weight 135 kg (system weight – total weight of fully kitted up rider, bike and luggage). If the system is over 110 kg then an experienced bike mechanic should check the wheel regularly.
