HUNT recommends a 2.25" tyre for best performance, tyre widths between 1.9" and 2.8" are also safe to use. Note: best performance is usually gained by using tyre pressures lower than the maximum, you can see our blog post about this, read here. Tubeless-ready for lower weight and rolling resistance. Only use tyres marked as compatible with hookless (TSS) rims. You must not exceed the maximum tyre pressure limits set out in the table below or the maximum limit set by your tyre manufacturer if this is lower.

Pillar Triple-Butted Spokes

28 race-ready, straight pull Pillar PSR spokes connect the cutting edge Proven carbon rim to our CNC machined alloy hub bodies. Selected for their excellent torsional strength and power transfer. Not only are these spokes extremely lightweight, they are also able to provide a greater degree of elasticity when put under increased stress. The Pillar Spoke Reinforcement (PSR) puts more material at the spoke head to prevent failure in this stress area.

Stated wheel weights: Our stated wheel weights reflect the wheelset only; without rim tape, tubeless valves or disc brake lock rings, as is industry standard. A 3% variance (lower or higher) in total system weight is normal for wheelset manufacturing.

All HUNT wheels models have to pass our harsh rolling-drum fatigue tests for rider weight limits, please see here for more details. Max system weight 135 kg (system weight – total weight of fully kitted up rider, bike and luggage). If the system is over 125 kg then an experienced bike mechanic should check the wheel regularly.
