<h1>H_Ratchet SGL Hub</h1><i>The new HUNT H_Ratchet 36T SGL hubset provides a 10-degree engagement angle with improved durability, offering increased engagement surface area while using less shell materials relative to our race-proven pawl-based systems. Ships with Dumonde Tech Pro X freehub grease applied for long service life and contamination resistance. Compatible with 15mm thru-axles for adaptability for all modern road and gravel bikes.</i>

<h1>Spokes</h1><i>Our team has further tuned the ride quality of the 30 Carbon Disc by selecting narrower gauge (TB2015) spokes for the front wheel to provide compliance, with slightly thicker gauge spokes (TB2016) in the rear for increased power transfer.</i>

<h1>Tyres</h1><i>At HUNT we enjoy the puncture resistance and grip benefits of tubeless on our every-day rides, so we wanted to allow you the same option, but of course these tubeless-ready wheels are also designed to work perfectly with inner tubes.</i>

The Purpose _

The 30 Carbon Disc is a do-it-all carbon disc-brake wheelset. The 30mm wide and 30mm deep U-profile serves up great handling and reduces aerodynamic drag across multiple wind yaw-angles, while keeping the rotating weight down for quick response when you put down the power. The extra-wide 22mm internal rim bed opens out your tyre profile to provide exceptional vibration reduction, cornering traction and low rolling-resistance.

TECHNOLOGY _

The HUNT team have paired the light and wide hooked rim with new H_Ratchet 36T SGL hubs, offering a rapid 10-degree engagement angle, in a reliable, easy-to-service and long-lasting ratchet drive system. Increased engagement surface area improves power transfer and longevity of the hubs, while using less material compared to a spring-and-pawl system, resulting in a light but robust hub system designed and tested to cope with the increased torque of 1x drivetrains.

Hand-built with top-of-the-range Pillar PSR triple butted J-bend spokes and precision sealed cartridge bearings.

HIGH SPECIFICATION COMPONENTS _

Rims

The HUNT 30 Carbon Disc was put through extensive before coming to market, including a rolling road test, pressure burst test, and real-world rider testing using our network of test athletes. To pass our rolling road test, each wheel must withstand 307 kilometers at 25km/h on the "rolling road," which consists of a rotating drum with four fixed steel bumps, measuring 10mm in height. The wheel is loaded with a 65-kilogram weight to simulate a 130kg rider's weight split across both wheels. The completed session generates 1,540,164 strikes on the rim and tyre, twice as many as required to pass standard ISO certification.

Rim Bed

H-Lock is our tubeless-ready rim bed profile with up-kicks to the shoulders of the tubeless steps which help to create a great rim-well seal for first installation and easy sealing of tubeless tyres. The H-Lock profile also locks the beads in place more securely once seated. This is especially important when running lower pressures off road.

Bearings

Precision stainless steel cartridge bearings with proprietary waterproof grease specially selected for the worst weather.

Freehub Body

HUNT H_Ratchet 36T SGL hub system with J-bend spoke interface and extra bearing shielding. 10-degree engagement angle with 36 tooth ratchet internals. H_CERAMIK freehub body coating for enhanced durability and protection against cassette gouging.
