Rims

Heat-treated 6069-T6 alloy, shot-peened finish for high fatigue resistance. H-lock bead-seat for easy and secure tubeless installation.

4 Season

Built to survive an endless assault from mother nature. Smooth and stable handling inspires confidence on unknown terrain, from poorly maintained roads and gravel to single track.

Visibility

Featuring a black night-safe reflective decal on rim – perfect for visibility during low-light/night riding.

H_Ratchet Rear Hub 40T DBL

New H_Ratchet double-sided system (with two floating ratchet rings). With a 40 tooth ratchet ring resulting in quick and reliable 9˚ engagement. The freehub features H_Ceramik anti-bite coating to increase durability and reduce gouging from pedalling forces.

TECHNOLOGY _

Equipped with the HUNT H_Ratchet 40T DBL hubset, providing just 9° of engagement and high strength-to-weight ratio, resulting in a low wheelset weight of just 1535g for quick acceleration.

The increased spoke count, oversized double-sealed cartridge bearings, and corrosion-resistant brass nipples provide reliability and long service life, no matter the weather. The wider, asymmetric rim profile with 22mm internal width accommodates modern road and gravel tyres ranging from 25mm all the way up to 50mm, allowing you to confidently roam and discover new routes.

A shot-peened finish adds fatigue resistance to the high-strength 6069 -T6 alloy rim construction. Hand-built with brass spoke nipples and 24 spokes front and rear for extra durability to handle all the salt, rain, potholes and ruts that your winter riding demands.

HIGH SPECIFICATION COMPONENTS _

Rims

A strong and lightweight 6069-T6 heat-treated rim features an asymmetric shape which is inverted from front to rear to provide balanced higher spoke tensions meaning your spokes stay tight for the long term. A wide 26mm rim (22mm internal), creates an optimal tyre profile for wider road tyres, giving excellent grip and lower rolling resistance.

Spokes

Hand-built with Pillar triple butted spokes, offering lower weight and greater elasticity to maintain tension and add fatigue resistance. The PSR J-bend spokes feature 2.2mm width at the spoke head providing more material in this high stress area. The nipples feature a square head so you can achieve precise tensioning.

Nipples

To accompany these high-end spokes we selected brass nipples for our Hunt 4 Season wheels. Brass is strong and corrosion resistant plus it has self-lubricating properties to prevent issues that can arise from grit salt on the winter roads corroding the fine threads in alloy nipples. As well as the standard square body we chose nipples with a hex head so you can achieve precise tensioning.

Bearings

The heart of any wheel. Investing in them makes huge sense. We use high-grade precision sealed cartridge bearings with proprietary waterproof grease specially selected for even the worst weather.

H_Ratchet Hub 40T DBL

The new HUNT H_Ratchet 40T DBL hubset provides a 9° engagement angle with improved durability, offering increased engagement surface area while using less shell materials relative to our race-proven pawl-based systems.

Visibility

Stay safe and illuminate the roads, with a black Night-Safe reflective decal on rim – perfect for visibility during low-light/night riding.
