The HUNT 40 Carbon Gravel Race Disc wheelset was built to meet the needs of the gravel racer and rider. Wide and lightweight 40mm-deep hookless rims offer durability, quick acceleration and aerodynamic efficiency, intended for use with modern width gravel race tyres. Laced to our lighter Sprint SL hubs with rapid 7.5-degree engagement, the complete wheelset comes in under 1400 grams.
Long-time advocates of tubeless technology for riding on and off-road, HUNT’s development into hookless rims began back in 2016. With the 40 Carbon Gravel Race Disc rim development, we were able to push the boundaries of rim weight-saving further, bringing the final rim weights to a mere 395g. As well as having that performance benefit, due to a simpler manufacturing process, hookless rims can be produced with less waste, resulting in a cost reduction which can be passed on to riders.
Wide, tubeless, ETRTO-compliant hookless rims, laced to reliable and fast-engaging Sprint SL hubs for a lightweight gravel-specific wheel system ready to go the distance in your next gravel race or fast ride.

LATERALLY RESPONSIVE
These wheels have been designed to provide the superior balance between a laterally responsive and lightweight package. Straight pull hubs and bladed spokes reduce weight and add strength, creating a system that responds instantly to your accelerations.
HOOKLESS/STRAIGHT SIDE-WALL DESIGN
40mm-deep and 30mm-wide external rim profile, featuring a hookless/straight-sidewall and ETRTO-compliant tubeless rim, designed for gravel tubeless tyre compatibility.
SPRINT SL HUBS
All-new Sprint SL hubs featuring the same strength and power transfer in a lower weight package, meaning more of your power pushing you forwards. The hub shell is 6066 series alloy, offering a greater strength-to-weight ratio than lower 6000 series alloys. Large 15mm diameter hub axles for climbing and out-of-saddle sprinting responsiveness. Circular dropout interface steps ensure a secure fitment.
